Laurie Black can't remember having a day
go by without at least one "cuppa" or glass
of iced tea.
About 15 years ago a friends' mother, who grew up in Liverpool, England introduced her to the "British Fair" and a British tea importer. Her interest in all things tea, lead her to making tea cozies, tea towels, tea shirts, etc. ;for tea rooms in the Kansas City and Wichita areas. As a tea eductor, Laurie has taught classes to children, teens, men and women, even a few doctors. She is especially interested in the history and social tea rituals of countries around the world. In March of 2005, she attended The World Tea Expo and completed two certification classes given by the Specialty Tea Institute.
